Teaching is my passion…

I run art workshops in Sussex, UK, that include:

• Pigment workshops: art of extracting pigments from natural materials and how to make them into paints by mixing them with different binders
• Natural dyes, inks and pastels: all from natural materials
• Painting: a range of different painting techniques from egg tempera painting to miniature and manuscript illumination
• Gilding: where we explore raised gesso gilding on paper and water gilding on panel
• Wood parquetry: where we work with thin wood veneer from different trees to create intricate geometric patterns
