In this series, raw, unprocessed rock and earth
pigments are placed in dialogue with gold,
earth’s most precious metal. Gold in art has
long symbolised Divine light. Here it represents
the moment consciousness takes form,
enlivening and transforming unshaped matter.
The work is a symbolic expression of the
meeting of the earthly and the transcendent,
turning chaos into order and harmony.
